Would a Mudi be OK for agility?
Big Dog | July 22nd, 2010
Mudi dogs are one of the most beautiful Hungarian herding breed. If we want to get to know them a bit more, we have to accept that this unique breed has nothing to do with dogs in general. A Mudi opens a new world, shows us new dimensions… The Mudi has been working with people for centuries, it is ready to obey commands anytime. It was even said for a while, that a Mudi can read one’s mind. Its amazing intelligence makes it able to do any kind of exercise. It’s the same with agility. This sport is based on the cooperation of people and dogs and a Mudi knows what it takes to be a good colleague. They can do great at agility competitions, if trained properly.

Congratulations, this blog is great!! I’m always so happy to find foreigners enchanted by these lovely dogs:)
Unfortunately, the breed can rarely be found even here in Hungary, everyone who’s interested in agility and other dogs’ sports buys border collies:( And though I like that breed, too, I’d like to see more mudis here and abroad as well.
Wow, I thought my comment was lost, but here it is twice:) Sorry:)
